26-year-old dumps girlfriend of 2 years after she stages a cheating prank: 'I ended things right there'

Some types of pranks should be off-limits. Here, we have a 26-year-old guy who had been dating his girlfriend for two years when she decided to stage a "cheating prank" wherein she would film herself with her boyfriend's best friend and make it look like they were hooking up. 

That plan was ultimately thwarted when the boyfriend walked in on them whilst they were in the middle of filming their "prank." Even after plenty of explanation proving their so-called innocence, this was a bridge too far for the boyfriend, and honestly, we get it. As someone in the comments section pointed out, cheating pranks are never a sign of a healthy relationship. If anything, they can be the start of the decline or, at the very least, an accelerator for the inevitable. Let's hope the girlfriend reflects on this colossal mistake before entering her next relationship.
